One of my favourite assignment moments.

I went to an amazing village in Umerkot today. Towards the end of a long day of shooting, the eldest woman of the village said she felt like I was her own daughter and me departing the village felt like it was my ruksati (especially since everyone followed me to the car).

All the women then began to sing the song they usually sing when seeing a village girl off as she leaves for her new life after getting married.

How I love this ‘apnapan’ and hospitality!

Go ahead! Disagree! :)
